Description

This is not a complete Rust course, of course, but it will address some of the modern features of the Rust programming language that are relevant to physicists, such as memory safety and especially its suitability for developing parallel programs. Some of the possibilities of Rust, such as functional programming, can also be found in other languages such as Python or C++, so that this lecture should also be relevant for listeners who do not (yet) want to switch to Rust.
