This course (basic level) is mainly aimed at graduate students in the fields of nuclear and particle physics and any field that deals with radiation and particle detection. The goal is to learn step by step using the Geant4 toolkit and develop a Geant4 application. The program will consist of lectures and hands-on activities. It is highly recommended that the participants have at least a basic level of understanding of C++ and UNIX-like operating systems.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops (VMware player software already installed).
